This is the first of what I hope to be many live Mythology releases, straight from the vaults! Over the past 13 years of this band, I have accrued many live recordings of various performances, and also of various sound qualities. It has always been my intention to eventually release some of them. Glad to see step 1 finally being taken in that direction!

While I am very proud of each of Mythology's studio albums, I've always felt that the band provided something truly special during live performances that studio recordings could never capture. The live shows were always something of a lightning rod. Frenetic, intense, and at times mesmerizing. This particular set focuses on some of our more hard hitting tunes.

Recorded on December 4th, 2019 at the famous Stanhope House in our home state of New Jersey. The audio was a combination of sources. One of them being the soundboard mix. I apologize, but I cannot remember the name of the guy doing sound that evening. We also had a couple remote audio recorders getting the room sound, provided by myself and our friend Cristian Gusetelu. Cristian also filmed the performance that night, so hopefully in the near future, we can release the accompanying footage to this fiery show!

Worth mentioning that this event took place 3 days before we began recording our Jazz album. Quite the polar opposite in aesthetic from this music. But that's how Mythology rolls...
